Maddie (my daughter) asked if she could have chocolate almond milk on her cereal this morning personally I thought that would be gross, but it did give me an idea Chocolate Strawberry Almond milk pops. They were super ridiculously easy to make, no special trips to the grocery store since I already had everything on hand.

I have always loved strawberries and have past that on to my youngest. I can remember a birthday cake my mom made me when I was either 3 or 4 and to know my mother she was not a baker let alone a cook. The cake looked pretty but the I'm not so sure about the taste. I have this one picture somewhere of this cake it had chocolate frosting with those strawberry wrapped candies, you know the ones in the strawberry foil and it had a gooey center, around the base of the cake and unwrapped ones on the top of the cake with red sugar sprinkles.

Every week when go shopping I always buy fresh strawberries must weeks they are gone before the end of the week. If I wasn't so impatient and didn't live in an apartment I would grow my own.

I love the simple sweetness with a hint of tart a strawberry offers to any recipe. I'm not big on adding extra sugar if i don't have too. I would rather whenever possible sweeten recipes naturally.

These creamy chocolatey strawberry pops didn't last long at my house between my youngest and I. I not only had to remind myself but also my daughter that I have to take pictures before they are all gone.

With simple and healthy ingredients you can't go wrong with these pops, and there will be no mom guilt about how much sugar and artificial junk you are feeding your kids, snice there is none.
